We are constantly cutting wood for our forcible entry classes, and we always have scrap around. So we are always cutting sprinkler and door wedges from it.
These are 6 inches long, 2 inches tall, and 1 inch wide. The perfect size for inserting two wedges from opposing sides to shut off the flow of water from a hanging pendant sprinkler.
Always good to have a pair of these in your turnout pocket or a couple pair in your FE bag for those automatic sprinkler calls. Cheap insurance.
