Patented by Fire Hooks Unlimited, the Hydra-Ram is designed to open tough commercial doors set into metal frames. It works best against inward-swinging doors, but can also be used to good effect on outward-swinging doors, removing window bars, or providing a quick lift of heavy items.
The original Hydra-Ram I weighs 11 pounds, spreads 4 inches, and exerts over 10,000 psi of pressure! The Hydra-Ram II was specifically requested by the FBI and U.S. Marshals for use in raids, it weighs one additional pound and has a spreading distance of 6 inches.
Comes with a rubber mallet for working the jaws of the Hydra-Ram into place between the door and frame, and a tough Cordura carrying bag with shoulder strap.
