Train on pulling deadbolts with a realistic prop that is tough enough to be used and re-used thousands and thousands of times!
Made of cold-rolled steel, the DB DUMMY mimics the dimensions of a standard commercial/residential deadbolt in every way....even the lip that fits into the door.
Mount the DB Dummy onto a homemade prop as simple as a scrap piece of 2x6 inserted into a bench-vise and you're ready to train!
The prop is held to the mounting board with two #6x4" machine screws, which are broken in the process of pulling the lock, making for a quick and inexpensive re-set for the next person's turn at bat.
BACKPLATE OPTIONS:
1 - NO BACKPLATE (you can make your own)
2 - SELF DRILL OPTION (We mark the holes for you, and you use a 1/4" bit to drill them out)
3 - FULLY DRILLED BACKPLATE OPTION (we supply a fully drilled back-plate that is ready to use)
Each DB DUMMY comes with detailed instructions for using the DBD, and a list of the necessary hardware for use (small washers, wing-nuts, inexpensive machine screws).
