One of the only "good" tools I carry. I keep these in my small Forcible Entry Tool Bag.
I've used these for years when going up against deadbolts, especially the tougher ones with thick screws.
What you do is this: Use a Rex Tool, Truckmans Tool, or halligan adz to pry the deadbolt collar away from the door enough to insert the Mini Bolt Cutters to cut one screw at a time.
This way....far less damage is done to the door instead of pulling the deadbolt.
You also run less risk of damaging the latch-mechanism so that you can retract the latch using a screwdriver or key-tool after you've cut the screws and removed the rest of the collar/cylinder.
