The single-piece Kelly Tool IS BACK!!
24" or 30".
Gunmetal finish or matte black.
The Kelly Tool was originally designed by FDNY Captain John Kelly of Ladder 163 in the 1920s, twenty years before the halligan!
No spike means there's no spike to get in your way! You can pry up or down with no problem!
Another thing that's interesting about the Kelly....is that the adz is rotated 90 degrees from what you're used to on a standard halligan. On most halligans, the adz and the fork face. On the Kelly, the adz and the fork are not aligned.....which means when prying with the bevel to the frame or the bevel to the door, the adz doesn't get in the way or contact the door prematurely. This allows for additional spread of the door without having to take the time to stop and adjust the tool.
